Hornets re-sign Seth Curry

July 15, 2024 – Charlotte Hornets President of Basketball Operations Jeff Peterson announced today the team has re-signed guard Seth Curry. Per team policy, terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Curry appeared in eight contests (one start) with the Hornets last season, recording 9.0 points, 2.0 rebounds and 1.8 assists in 19.9 minutes per game. Charlotte originally acquired Curry in a trade with the Dallas Mavericks on Feb. 8.

He holds career averages of 10.4 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.0 assists in 482 games (210 starts) across 10 NBA seasons. Curry’s 43.1 percent career mark from 3-point range is the third-highest among active players and the eighth-best in NBA history, and he has finished in the top 10 in 3-point percentage in five seasons.
