NORFOLK, Va. – The 2024 Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference football season will kick off with Football Media Day on Tuesday, July 23 at 12:00 p.m.
The Countdown to Kickoff Media Day Show will be held at the Hilton Norfolk The Main Hotel in downtown Norfolk, Va., and will be broadcast on ESPN+.
All MEAC head football coaches along with select student-athletes from each institution will be present to participate in photo ops and interviews about the upcoming season. The full list of media day student-athlete attendees will be announced at a later date.
The 2024 MEAC Preseason predicted order of finish and All-MEAC Football teams will also be announced during the Football Media Day event.
The in-person media session will begin at 9 a.m., and the live Countdown to Kickoff Media Day Show presented by Coca-Cola will air on ESPN+ at noon.
The 2024 MEAC football season will kick off with two games on Saturday, Aug. 24.
Norfolk State will face Florida A&M in the annual Cricket MEAC/SWAC Challenge at Center Parc Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The game will broadcast live on ABC at 7:30 p.m.
Delaware State will also appear on national television taking on the University of Hawai’i at the Clarence T.C. Ching Athletics Complex in Honolulu, HI. The game will broadcast live on CBS, game time to be announced.
