The former Cardinals receiver joined the Jaguars this off season after a few years of being with the Cardinals. He signed a 4 year $72 million dollar deal to become the Jaguars WR1. The WR is very undervalued as a route runner and had a good amount of help with learning from former teammate DeAndre Hopkins.
The Jaguars have been working on a rebuild since their AFC Championship appearance in 2017. Adding valuable pieces like Myles Jack, Trevor Lawrence, and more. Kirk is a well-built, mentally tough slot target whose game is built around pace more than explosiveness. His lack of speed and length make him less likely to impact games down the field, but his footwork, route tempo and hands should give him an opportunity to find catches underneath. Kirk’s ability to help in the return game is a plus, but the difference between average and good as a receiver could depend on finding the right fit for him in Jacksonville.
Season Prediction
112 receptions 1,145 receiving yards 7 touchdowns 8.9 yards per catch.
