BUCCANEERS POSTGAME NOTES
- The Tampa Bay Buccaneers defeated the Green Bay Packers, 31-26, to advance to the Super Bowl for
the second time in team history, joining the 2002 Buccaneers. Tampa Bay will also become the first team
in NFL history to play a Super Bowl in its home stadium.
- The Buccaneers are the first No. 5 seed in NFL history to defeat a No. 1 seed in a conference
championship game.
- In his NFL record 14th conference championship game, QB Tom Brady went 20-of-36 for 280 yards
and three touchdowns.

- With just 34 seconds remaining in the first half, CB Sean Murphy-Bunting picked off Packers QB Aaron
Rodgers, leading to Tampa Bay’s last-second touchdown to Miller. Murphy-Bunting joined Pro Football
Hall of Famers Aeneas Williams (four-consecutive games) and Ed Reed as well as Jason Sehorn as the
only four players in the Super Bowl era with an interception in each of their first three career postseason
games. His three postseason interceptions are tied for the most in team history.

- Murphy-Bunting is the first player in the NFL to record an interception in at least three-consecutive

- S Jordan Whitehead recorded a pair of forced fumbles in the game, recording the first two of his

- OLB Shaquil Barrett brought down Rodgers three times in the game, joining Warren Sapp (1/4/98 at
