Hornets Recap

The Charlotte Hornets headed into San Antonio, with them having one of the greatest coaches to face against in NBA history in Gregg Popovich. LaMelo Ball and the Hornets had a challenging game ahead of them but could get the win after a dominating win 123-117. This was big for Charlotte because it was their first back-to-back win since the end of January. The game went back and forth all night, with it being 10 points being the biggest lead of the game. Keldon Johnson was essential for the Spurs, scoring a career-high 33 points while racking up eight rebounds and two assists having a career night.

On the Charlotte Hornets side of things, Terry Rozier was Key for the Charlotte Hornets, nailing three-pointers after three-pointers, eventually ending up with8 for the game and getting 31 points. LaMelo Ball assisted with 24 points, eight rebounds, and seven assists. Montrez Harrell helped off the bench since his arrival scoring 15 points and six rebounds. The Hornets are finally turning things around, but they’ll have a challenge when LaMelo goes up against Kyrie Irving and the Brooklyn Nets Tuesday night.
